How Pinus Pinar Started
The story of Pinus Pintar began with a deep concern. We noticed that the IT industry was predominantly dominated by individuals from outside the region and those whose values did not align with Islamic principles. This motivated us to create change: to provide opportunities for local talent and deliver IT solutions rooted in Islamic values that benefit society. Our journey started humbly, in a mosque, where we gathered passionate young individuals eager to learn and grow. Together, we built a community focused on developing IT skills to support the digital transformation of Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren) and local businesses.
This small initiative became the foundation of our larger mission: to empower the younger generation to contribute to digital transformation guided by Islamic values. Through hard work and collaboration, we successfully nurtured IT professionals who not only excelled in their technical abilities but also upheld integrity and responsibility.
